Whether people give some thoughts to importance and quality of education? Probably yes, but not everyone. As we can see, in our world works the system of education that is usual for people and it doesn't change radically during almost 300 years. Of course some changes happened and they caused marked improvement. But the rough idea is still the same because people have a firm conviction that such a system is good. It has been functioning for many years and it establishes everybody at first sight. But honestly think it's not. All people are different, as well as we live in a different time. Now is the 21st century and I think every person is entitled to get an education as she or he wants and can.
I'm studying at Ostrog Academy and I want to say that I like almost everything in educational process. There are few drawbacks but of course nothing is ideal. I know that our university tries to keep up with Europinian universities, that's why I'm sure that through a few year, OA will meet the entry requirements of even the most demanding and Honor Roll students. Here, I want to present some of my ideas which in my opinion would help to improve the educational system. These ideas are not specifically related to my university but it refers educational system by and large.
1. Lectures, Lessons, Courses. (LLC)
I think every student can choose on which LLC he or she wants to go. Naturally, student must attend the core subjects (in my case everything that connects with English and French). But what about everything else? We have a lot of subjects which noway connect with future profession, for example Low, Sociology, History etc. I clearly grasp the importance of such subjects because students must have common knowledge in different spheres. But we could pay less attention to these subjects, for example not to pass any final tests or exams. If the LLC were interesting, students would get all required knowledge from them.
2. Interest of LLC
If the teachers want that their LLC attend a lot of students, they must create them interesting and exciting. There are a lot of teachers who subscribe to the theory that they must come in to classroom, to read some information from the papers which students have to note, and done! And it's the first reason why students play hooky. It's easy to make LLC more interesting, for example its good idea to play some game or conduct some training. Also, it's great when the material gives like visual presentation on the projector into which teacher can include some pictures or videos.
3. Working in small groups
Working with few students is more productive than working with huge group of people. I'm really happy that such rule is functioning in our university. From my own experience I can make a counclusion that such work helps to do a subject more properly and successfully. It gives an opportunity to each student to show initiative in work and to get marks more often. Also, with small group of students teacher can organize different group projects which distract from boring usual lessons and permanent cramming.
4. Group Projects and Seminars
As I said it's perfect when on the LLC students don't get boredom and don't feel lack of interest. Group projects and seminars will bring students together in one work. Constant dialogue in the game form will help to learn the material by heart and in addition to have some fun.
I hope in the near future the educational system will be perfect. But we should bear in mind that the main rule of successful education is to have a thirst for knowledge and have a wish for developing intelligence.

Final impressions
Three months passed like a flash and
I can’t believe it. All tasks are done and almost all marks are displayed. It
was a hard trimester. A lot of people who saw me in the process of studying
said me: “Oh, we are stunned; you’ve never paid so much attention to your
studying at the first course.
I thought the second year would be easier,
but then I understood I just jumped to conclusion.
The Vocabulary of Modern English is
special subject. I always felt uneasy about it, because of a lot of tasks, a
lot of new words, some creative tasks connected with blogposts and so on. The
Vocabulary is only one subject that made me close to tears or even made to be in tears.
You will ask why? Because of inability to do the blogposts properly and from
the first time. You will ask me again, why there is inability? Because of persistent
problems with Internet connection from which I always lose my temper. Yeah it
sounds like I just say it because I don’t want to complete assignments, because
it’s classic example of excuse. But even so, my excuse was true. In any case,
now I’m sure that after that, no one online tools won’t make me scary. So I’m
thankful for this experience, even when I’ve been accomplishing the task not had
being entirely happy.
Also, now I’ve started notice that I
make a progress and gradually achieve my common goals. When I’m reading some
article or book or when I’m watching the film in English I understand that I
know much more words that I knew before. That’s cool I think.
Besides, I recognize the thing that I
could do even more than now. The more the merrier! Even if there are
considerably difficulties I won’t back down. Because we must take an interest
in improving our skills. It’s our future profession and we have to tackle all
problems in our hectic way just to be good and initiative specialist.
By and large I would like to say that
our course of Vocabulary doesn’t need any improvements as we are fortunate to
have an incredibly creative teacher :) Maybe just a little bit oral presentation
instead of blogposts J
To summarize I just want to wish for
all of you all the best and even if you in a deadlock and think that you can’t
resolve your problems with studying English, just bear in mind – practice makes
perfect!
Letter to my dear alien friends!
Dear friends,
I found out that I’m located on the Earth. Can you imagine this? Formerly, I thought that on the Earth are only some ruins, remains, and nothing beautiful! But I need to confess there is really amazing landscape! I’m stunned because I didn’t expect this! In the video you can see where I am. I’m near some nice cottage which is situated in the country I guess. There is so wonderful view! The house is surrounded by autumn forest. I’m sure you‘ve never seen such a beautiful place on our planet Weirdlandia. Near the cottage you can see nice shed, where people probably keep some working stuff. The house looks like new and ultra-modern. It is colored in the same color as our skin. It’s cool, isn’t it? The entrance in house is in a little porch. Then you can see the tiled roof and the chimney on it. It means the house is warm and cosy. Also, at the left side you can see small staircase, which is leading to second entrance I guess. Thereby, there formed an outside landing. If the cottage in such mint condition outside – I’m sure insight it is also up to date. Just imagine, antique comfortable furniture, fully-equipped kitchen, spacious attic, and a huge cellar, where could be situated a lot of fun stuff, or even a game room. Do you understand my implications? All of you should come here, and we will capture this house! We could renovate it a little just to make it more similar to our alien style. Hurry up! Meanwhile I will keep track of the house! We mustn’t deliver it. I’m looking forward to you my dear friends!
Yours, Deedy

Body language
Ten mistakes that happen in using gestures
Non-verbal communication or body language is an important part of presentation skills and how you gesture is an essential component of that body language. Your gesture should match your words and not distract the audience. And with a little practice, they can help you in being confident and avoid the misinterpreting of your messages.
Here are ten mistakes to avoid when using gestures:
1. Not using gestures at all. If you keep your hands locked at your sides, you will look nervous and your presentation will lack visual element to accompany your words. You should display to the audience what you are saying, in addition to hearing it.
2. Keeping your hands in your pockets. From the side it looks pretty weird. Bear in mind, this position is a manifestation of disrespect.
3. Fidgeting with you hands. Be aware of what your hands are doing, such as "washing each other, grasping each other tightly, fiddling with you hair, watch, jewelry, etc. You can't combine these gestures with speaking to the audience.
4. Playing with "stuff". If you must hold something, such as notes or computer mouse, be conscious of how you are holding it. Too often the item becomes something for you to play with unconsciously, or in the cause of notes,a crutch that prevents you from looking at the audience.
5. Holding you hands behind your back. When not gesturing, your hands should be in the "neutral position", hanging loosely at your sides and ready to come up to gesture.
6. Pointing at the audience. It's not polite to point. Replace it with another gesture, for example, try an open-handed gesture instead.
7. Folding your arms across your chest and stroking your face. Even if you are only doing this because you feel cold, this gesture will most likely be interpreted as your closing yourself off from the audience. Instead, keep your gesture open to the audience.
8. Gripping the podium. This gesture is usually accompanied by the "deer in the headlights" look. If you are using the podium, place your hands lightly on the top of it or in a relaxed hold on the edges.
9. Using stilted gestures. Your gestures should be natural and flow smoothly rather than looking forced or robotic.
10. Using overly rehearsed gestures. The audience shouldn't be too observant to notice that you don't know what to do with your hands.
Just try to use your gestures in an appropriate way :)
